Belief in god is Futile

God is an abstract concept. When we talk about god, we don’t know what it is we are actually talking about. Like if you say house… if you say building… if you say horse… We all know what these things mean. They are objective, concrete things that we can all understand when we discuss them. God, on the other hand, we talk about god like we all believe in the same thing. Like we are all thinking about the same thing, but we are not. Because for different people, god is different things. For muslims, god has a house in meccah, the kaaba; thats the “house of god” (what does that even mean? his place of residence? His place of “residence”?!) For Christians, Jesus is god. And then the israelites/jews, who knows what “g-d” is to them! But we do know that their god makes promises to them like “promising” them some land that is inhabited by people and then a whole lot of shit goes down because of it. We’ll delve into what god said here and what god said there in the future.

Each of those religions believe that they are right and that their idea of god is right and if you don’t give into or beleive in their god then you are doomed to eternal damnation in hellfire (Christians and Muslims) and ofcourse are inferior to them (especially with the case of Jews). So any person that is not a believer in their way of thinking/being is deemed a non-believer and for muslims these people are to end up in hell and Christians believe that you are thus not saved by Jesus and thus you are damned to hell. Jews beleive that they are the chosen people and are thus more priviliged in this life than the rest of the population.

Alot of mass killings has taken place for the sake of god. Alot of wars have taken place for god’s sake. From Christian crusaiders and colonianism who have masscred and killed native populations from USA and Canada to Brazil and Australia for the sake of Christianity. And we currently see in the news that is very prevalant that because of what god has promised the jews (the land of palestine or modern day state of israel); so now they have the right to kill millions of palestinians and displace millions more. And for muslims, it is the highest honour for them to die for the sake of their god, alla; as in “jihad fi sabil il lah”. And a muslim martyr is said to go straight to “heaven”. So they’re just killing one another like crazy.

Hindus believe in a multitude of gods and godesses and the vedic scriptures which is the foundations for hiduism talks about god as being something else. Mentions god as being the witnessing consciousness. As in, for example, when you watch your breath while meditating, that witness of the witnessing of the breath is god. Buddhists, on the other hand, don’t believe in god at all!

Most importantly, I want to pose the question.. If god created everything, all that we know, and perhaps unknown, then who created god? If Jesus is god, do you mean it’s jesus himself the creator of everything? Like bananas and strawberries? Lions and Humans? And if jesus didn’t because he is the son of god? The who is the father of the father of jesus? Who is Jesus’s grandfather? Who created the creator? And who created that creator?! So this question is to be posed to all these religions, especially these three major ones that hold this beleif, whether its the trinity or the beleif in just one god. Is there an actual truth to these claims they make?

You are told/taught that whatever religion’s scripture you were born into, or converted to, is a “holy book” and you take it for a fact that it is actually a holy book and that it was sent to you from god himself. First of all, how do you truthfully know that? These are just claims made by people. It is based on complete blind-faith. Why do you take that claim to be the end-all-be-all of all truths? Like mohammad, claims that he is the last messenger of god. He said god talked to him, wrote the quran as the word of god (because alla is synonymous with god, per se) and the muslims are tought to believe that he is the last messenger of “god” and anyone claiming to be a messenger of god succeeding him is lieing. Why do we take it for granted that alla/god would just pick this one messenger, over a thousand years ago, and then decide that its “I’m going to not send messengers any more”. And if Jesus is the son of god, then why does this kind of thing happen again and again? We are left deciphering texts written thousands of years ago breeding conflict on top of clonflict. Don’t we need something new? Especially something relevant for our current day?

It seems like god is this mythical creature that is the root cause of a lot of conflict in the world. It’s a concept that we don’t agree on because it is an abstract idea and we believe that our way is right and the other way is wrong. And people that don’t beleive what we believe are inferior to us and to top it off, god seems to be sending a lot of people to war. Many wars, again, for god’s sake.

You know what I think? I think we should just drop god and drop religion and begin a new way where we see the humaneness of each and every one of us. To take life as it is and be kind and courteous to one another. No matter where you are. Drop all the borders in the world, we aught to be advocating for the removal of borders in the world, no religions, no god, and no messeges from god telling you to do this or that… that’s my land that’s their land, we gotta go to war for the sake of our land! We gotta convert people to god. If you don’t beleive in god you are doomed to eternal hell. You are inferior to us because you don’t believe in god… All this needs to die off as we move toward a new elevated consciousness.

Trivia:

Food muslims are allowed to eat is called halal. Flip halal and its lalah. As is “Lalah land” and also La Lah in Arabic means “no god”!

Kosher, the food permissable to jews, flipped, is reshock. STOP shocking and REshocking us!

Advise: Skip kocher and halal from your diet and be happy!
