The Importance of Smiling for Overall Happiness

Today, I want to let you in on a little insight. It’s about the fact that facial expressions can actually influence your emotions…Not just reflect them.

This is called the “facial feedback hypothesis”

So what you can do, now that you are equipped with this new insight, is whenever you have a negative emotion.. force a smile. It WILL make you happier.

Because when you force a smile, your mind starts looking for reasons to be happy. This is what the facial feedback hypothesis is all about..

Your mind doesn’t want cognitive dissonance.. A discrpency between what your facial expression says, and how you are feeling.

Here’s a short video where I talk about it and I also add the fact of the ripple effect on people when you smile and they smile back creating a much more positive and pleasant interaction and experience.

We have got to capitalize on this loop!

By the way, there’s something that I have been thinking about recently.. Which is how unnatural money is. And that it is NOT really a resource but a joint agreement/hallucination on it’s value to us.

I will be discussing this topic soon, as the topics that have to do with how we can be happy all the time are the topics that interest me and contemplate about and love sharing.

So, could it be that the “pursuit of money” is one of the biggest reasons why psychosigists suggest that it’s not possible to be happy all the time? i.e. the vast majority of people spend a whole lot of their time doing stuff not for it’s own enjoyment, but in the pursuit of money.

So stay tuned, these topics and more are coming up.

Okay, that’s it for now,

Have an awesome rest of your week!
